The Centraal Museum in Utrecht is organising contemporary art exhibitions in Oud-Amelisweerd, a country house on the outskirts of the city of Utrecht. Since 2022 two exhibitions of renowned Dutch artists are presented on the first floor of Landhuis Oud-Amelisweerd each year.

Ansuya Blom joins this programme of exhibitions as the fifth artist, following the preceding solo shows of Amie Dicke, Marijke van Warmerdam, Hannah van Bart, and Han Schuil.

Blom’s oeuvre explores the boundaries of the inner world of experience. Through drawings, collages, films and installations, she unravels the complexities of human relationships with oneself, others, and the external world. Especially for Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd, Blom designed a spatial installation that traverses the house, showcasing her drawings alongside three films.

This programme is a partner project of Hartwig Art Foundation.
